![]() ![]() Because of this, theres slight variations between the UK/US versions of the XL Akira and the South American ones didn't bother correcting the mistake so they just have pink impulse engines. The Akira is one thats a true upgrade, although it got messed up in production so the aztecing is "echoed" and kinda cloudy looking and originally they all shipped with pink impulse engines, ending up in a delay where EM had to respray them dark grey in the destination countries. The Enterprise E is literally the same paint job, mould as the regular. The Defiant is more or less identical, the paint is way off though, and they followed an incorrect piece of reference of a broken studio model and so they have one open warp coil and one closed on the backs of the engines. That being said Voyager XL is one of the better ones, but it suffers from horrific window misalignment. The regular Voyager has a weird extra thick base layer of paint on top which obscures the detailing some, but it's there.
